Welcome to Maple Tree Manor

A modern equestrian training and boarding facility in Mexico, NY.
 

Located just 10 miles from I-81, and 30 minutes north of Syracuse, Maple Tree Manor offers customized care and feeding, on-site
training, indoor and outdoor arenas, 8 stalls, and options for pasture board and small group turnout.
 

Our 60x100 indoor arena has premium footing, doors on all sides for ventilation and access, and adjoins the stalls and tack room.
The climate-controlled tack room has views into the arena, refrigerator, and restroom. The wash stall features hot and cold running
water and ample drainage.
 

Our newest addition (the farm was built specifically for horses in 2019) is the 120x200 outdoor arena, built in 2022, with premium
footing and easy access to and from the barn.
 

Situated on 55 acres, Maple Tree Manor borders the county trail system, providing immediate access to beautiful, maintained trails.
Three miles away is Selkirk State Park, or opt for a quick 30-minute trailer to Winona State Forest for its extensive trail system. (How
far to Otter Creek??)
 

We welcome boarders who are looking for a quiet, professional atosphere where horses and their humans quickly become family.

Small quiet barn with 8 10 x 12 stalls
Each stall has a window and a private fan
Some outdoor board available occasionally
100 x 60 indoor with no dust sand footing
200 x 125 outdoor with premium sand footing
Climate controlled tack room with viewing area of the indoor
Bathroom with washer
Hot and cold water in wash rack
8 turn out options for small group turn out
Turn out as much as possible
Poulin grains but open to adapting a feeding program for your horse
Round bales available in some paddocks for continuous hay
Property abuts the snow mobile trails for beautiful trail riding
Ride to Selkirk state park or trailer over for groomed trails

Lessons and Training

I have been riding and taking lessons since I was 6 years old. I started english and then started western lessons when I was 10.

I have experience in hunter/jumpers, english and western pleasure, dressage, barrel racing, and ranch riding. I attended Houghton University where I minored in equestrian and took many lecture and riding classes, riding under many different professors. I took a pedagogy class (through CHA) where I taught both english and western lessons. My approach to both lessons and training is natural horsemanship where both horse and rider are listened to.

Events

A Day at the Farm
This will be a one day summer camp that will include learning about life on the farm, horse riding, crafts, and activities both with and without a horse.
